THE COORDINATOR OF TARGEAR WILL BE THE CHAIR OF THE  INTERNATIONAL COMMITTEE OF THE ARO

Prof. Isabel Varela-Nieto, who was the coordinator of the TARGEAR project, will chair the International Committee of the Association for Research in Otolaryngology (ARO).

The aims of the Association for Research in Otolaryngology (ARO), founded in 1973,  are the encouragement and promotion of research, both basic and clinical, in the broad field of Otolaryngology and related areas; to foster friendly assembly and stimulate scientific interest among its members. To this end, the Association helds anual scientific meetings and engages in activities appropriate to achieve these objectives.

During the 41st Mid Winter Meeting hold on February 14-16, 2018 in San Diego, the coordinator of TARGEAR Prof. Isabel Varela-Nieto, was honoured with the invitation to serve as the next Chair of the International Committee, which is currently chaired by Prof. Alan Brichta.
