Action Group A3 of the EU Health Policy Platform , Prevention and Early Diagnosis of Frailty and Functional Decline, brings together around 100 organizations, among which public health authorities, care organisations, academia, research centers, industries, patients associations and professional bodies, which have committed themselves to the objectives of understanding the underlying factors of frailty, exploring the association between frailty and adverse health outcomes in older people and better preventing and managing the frailty syndrome and its consequences. These organizations are implementing their own “commitments”, which are measurable and concrete activities at local, regional or national level aimed at improving older people health and quality of life.
