Pan European Networks: Science & Technology is designed to bridge the gap between policy and science
Pan European Networks: Science & Technology is designed to bridge the gap between policy and science. By covering not only the advances in scientific discovery, but also the important supporting frameworks that drive European science forward, the publication ensures that key European figures, including policy makers, legislators, influential academics and leading industrialists, remain informed.
Divided into three main sections – ‘Research & Development’, ‘Health’, and ‘Environment & Sustainability’ – the journal offers a wealth of information covering the entire spectrum of both legislative and research-based developments, whilst also providing coverage of some of the most important and informative events and conferences from across the region.
Key contributors include:
• Martin Rees: The UK Astronomer Royal outlines the $100m in private funding for a new search for extraterrestrial life;
• Marja Makarow: The Academy of Finland’s VP discusses the Finnish model for research and development; and
• Andrus Ansip: The commissioner highlights the
reasons why the Digital Single Market is a priority for Europe.
