The Conference is organised in the context of the 20th anniversary of the membership of the Russian Federation in the Council of Europe and is dedicated to the protection of Human Rights in biomedical field with a particular focus on ethical and legal aspects of organ donation
The Conference jointly organised by the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation and the Council of Europe will take place on 26 April 2016.
The Programme of the Conference includes sessions on core principles of bioethics, protection of Human Rights through good practices in transplantation systems and fight against trafficking in human organs, both in the Russian Federation and in other European countries.
