This edition will focus on the physiology, pathology and therapies of the inner ear. Prof. Isabel Varela, coordinator of the TARGEAR project, will give a lecture about the factors involved in the progression of the presbycusis. In parallel, the 20th German Tinnitus Symposium will be held on September 8, 2018.
This Workshop has over half a century tradition of gathering researchers and clinicians interested in the inner ear issues. This edition will be held on September 6th – 8th, 2018 in Berlin (Germany) and it will be focused on the physiology, pathology and therapies of the inner ear. Excellent keynote speakers will give stimulating talks. Hands-on workshops can be used by those who want to deepen their practical skills. You will also have opportunity to present your findings during numerous oral and poster session.
Prof. Isabel Varela, who has been the coordinator of the TARGEAR project, will participate as Invited Guest Speaker. She will give a lecture about the factors involved in the progression of hearing loss associated with aging (IGF-1 and beyond).
